01.iNfocus Eye Glasses Voucher Program
Are you in need of glasses? Our iNfoucs eye glasses voucher program is for you. Dreams of Hope Foundation has partnered with Conexus to provide free vouchers for those in need of glasses. All you need is a prescription that has been dated in the last two years. Vouchers can be picked applied for and picked up.
Our clothing closet is open to all who are need. Items include women, mens, children and baby clothing items and some household goods. Each individuals is allow to select items. One visit per month. A picture ID and completed application is required.
03.Breaking Bread Food Pantry
Our food pantry is open to all who are need. Items are provided through private donors. Each family is allow to receive food from the pantry once a month. A PICTURE ID and SOCIAL security cards for all in the HOUSEHOLD is required. by appointment only except for Breaking Bread events once a month. Completed APPLICATION is required.
04.State ID Card / Birth Certificate Program
The Dreams of Hope Foundation helps those who are needing a state issued ID or birth certificate for re-entry / transitional use only. Please contact our office for more information.
Co-FOUNDER/ Chairman of the Board
Coy Dreher was born and raised in Columbia, SC and graduated from Eau Claire High School. At Eau Claire he received a band scholarship and was honored to play for the South Carolina State Marching 101 Band. At South Carolina State University, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Coy served eight years in the United States Navy. Coy now resides in Newport News, Virginia. In 2015, he earned his Master’s of Business Administration from Stratford University. Coy is currently obtaining his second Masters in Counseling from Hampton University. Coy has a great passion for the youth and sports. He is very passionate in making a difference in the lives of those in need specifically young men.
Co-FOUNDER/ Executive Director
Simone Marie Dreher was born and raised on the island of St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. She currently resides in Newport News, Virginia. Simone graduated from Hampton University in 2006 with Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a double minor in Leadership and Criminal Justice with a focus on Juvenile Delinquency. Simone received her Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California in 2017. Simone dedicates her time to helping those in need especially those with mental illness.
Michael is a lifelong resident of Hampton, Virginia. He is a graduate of Hampton High School class of 2006, from there he attended Norfolk State University, graduating in 2015 with a degree in Mass Communications. Michael served in the US Army for several years prior to returning home to Hampton Road to make a difference in the community. Michael enjoys photography, and cooking. His mantras:

We are sure he will bring a level of professionalism and advocacy to our agency.

Dreams of Hope Foundation was founded in 2012, in Newport News, Virginia with the mission of taking proactive steps to remove barriers that cause distress to families. Since its conception, Dreams of Hope Foundation has helped thousands of families in the Hampton Roads area.
We provide various services, some to include: Medication Management referrals, State ID / Birth Certificate, iNfoucs Eye Glasses Voucher, Food Pantry, Clothing Closet/ Mobile Clothing Closet, Support Groups: Hope After Loss, I am mentally Prepared for offenders with mental illness, Mentoring teen boys and girls ages 10 to 18, Referrals to community resources, Re-entry program for convicted Felons. Our goal is to be of service to whoever may need help, we are here for YOU!

Breaking bread Food Pantry
Last Thursday of every month from 2 pm to 5:30pm. Pre -Registration required. Food bags and Clothing closet will be available to everyone that pre-registered. Picture ID and Social Security Cards for all in household.
Finding hope after loss
Dreams of Hope Foundation will be hosting a monthly support group at 7320 Warwick Blvd, Newport News. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at 6:00pm. For more info and/or transportation call 757-806-6339 Open and Free to the public Dinner will be served. Groups will Resume October 2019
The death of a child, of any age, brings heartbreak and devastation. Whether your child died recently or some time ago, Finding Hope After Loss Support group is here to help you find hope, healing, peace, and a way forward.
Finding Hope After Loss support group is for bereaved parents who have lost children to homicide, suicide, accidental death incidents, infant loss, as well as disease processes. This group is for parents who would like to connect with others who have experienced the passing of a child. Our discussions are meant to be uplifting. Please know that we are just bereaved parents like all of you and this group should not replace professional counseling. Our common goal is to celebrate the lives of our children and to ultimately heal as a group. ♥

· Items must be picked up by the appointment time. If items are not picked up within the allotted time items will be restocked and a new application would have to be submitted the following month
· Referrals from other agencies are accepted in advance
· Families may only apply once a month
